What is the Extra Time Hub?
It’s an initiative designed to increase social interaction for everyone who is retired, semi-retired or approaching retirement. Opportunities to meet and spend time with like-minded people from the area can make a positive difference, reducing any feelings of isolation. It can be good just to sit and talk, over tea and biscuits. Fun and movement are also on offer, through a range of activities suitable for all levels of fitness and skill: table tennis, indoor carpet bowls, new age kurling, boccia, quizzes, bingo, etc.
When and where are Extra Time Hub sessions held?
Every Monday, from 10.00am to 11.30am at Bracebridge Heath Village Hall, Red Hall Lane, Bracebridge Heath LN4 2LB.
Every Tuesday, from 10.00am to 11.30am at Skellingthorpe Scouts Hut, Stoney Yard, Skellingthorpe LN6 5TU.
Every Wednesday, from 10.00am to midday in the Co-op Community Hub (behind the Stacey West Stand) at the LNER Stadium, Sincil Bank, Lincoln LN5 8JZ.
Do places have to be booked for Extra Time Hub sessions?
No, you can just turn up on the day.
How much do Extra Time Hub sessions cost?
£2 per session at Bracebridge Heath and Skellingthorpe or £3 per session at the LNER Stadium, to be paid on the day.
How can more information be obtained?
Please contact the Foundation, either by calling/texting 07305 095690 or by using the online form at https://www.lincolncityfoundation.com/extratimehub.

On Sunday 06/04/25, twenty runners have already been selected to raise funds for our Trust’s permanent charity partner, Lincoln City Foundation. They will be joined by lots more runners, supporting other charities. They are all taking on the challenge of completing Run for All’s “Lincoln 10K”: the large, well-loved running event, finishing by the Cathedral after passing many of the city’s iconic landmarks.
The Foundation is looking for volunteers to steward the 10K course and/or the course for the Lincoln Half Marathon, which will take place on Sunday 05/10/25. If you are interested in supporting runners in that way, please complete the form at https://www.lincolncityfoundation.com/volunteer.
Anyone interested in running the Half Marathon for the Foundation is also invited to email community@lincolncityfoundation.co.uk. The route is for 13.1 miles, beginning at the Lincolnshire Showground and also finishing at the Cathedral. You will receive:-
The funds raised will help the Foundation to provide opportunities that will inspire and empower individuals to develop and improve their physical, social and mental wellbeing across our community. Pleased click here for more details of a few of those projects.

Due to road closures along Sincil Bank, temporary arrangements have been made for the Red Imps Association Travel Section coaches to Leyton Orient, Mansfield Town, Barnsley and Birmingham City. Instead of departing from and returning to the car park behind the Stacey West Stand at the LNER Stadium, the coaches will depart from and return to the South Common. The advertised departure times will be unchanged.
Passengers will be able to leave their cars on the South Common: the gates will be opened 45 minutes before the advertised departure times and then locked when the coaches leave, re-opening when the coaches return.
Please click here for details of the departure times and prices. Please click here for answers to Frequently Asked Questions.
Red Imps Community Trust’s mission is to support (i) the club, (ii) the fans and (iii) the community. To make it easier to achieve that mission, we adopted a new structure last year. Members are now elected with leadership responsibility for each of those three key tasks. Leaders are also elected with responsibility for relationships with external organisations, such as the Football Supporters’ Association, which has been identified as a fourth crucial role. Volunteers (including a Communications Team) assist the various leaders’ projects.
Thanks to the leaders’ enthusiastic embrace of their new roles, a huge amount of positive work is going on. We are a thriving, dynamic organisation, providing valuable services. It’s imperative that news of our activities should be shared as widely as possible. Readers of the Lincolnshire Echo can still learn about Trust activities through a regular column in that traditional newspaper. Nowadays, however, most of the Trust’s communications with our 6,500+ members are in digital form, via our social media channels, e-mailshots and website.
We are looking to expand the team of volunteers running our digital communications operations. Can we improve the content of the messages that we generate? Can we use better the evolving technology available to convey those messages? If you are interested in helping us out, please email Rob Bradley at rgbradley50@hotmail.com or pop over for a chat at the Trust Pod in the Fan Village before any home match. All required support and training will be provided by our existing Comms Team members.
