Football Governance Bill – FSA Update

It remains imperative that the Football Governance Bill should become law without delay: the urgent need for an Independent Regulator of English Football has been highlighted yet again by recent events at Morecambe FC, Sheffield Wednesday FC and Hull City FC.

Red Imps Community Trust is an active member of the Football Supporters’ Association, which has been working on the Bill for a long time. A progress report that it issued on 02/07/25 can be read here.

Matchday Magazine

The Trust have been facilitating meetings with supporters who miss having a match programme. They’d like to know if there’s individuals or groups out there who’d like to lead on the production of a fan-led alternative featuring articles, interviews, competitions, and more. It can be match-by-match, monthly, or on a four-a-season basis…your call.

If you’d like to edit, organise, or just contribute to such a project please get in touch via our contact button.

Trust Accounts Published

Why is 26th June important?

First, because the EFL will release the 2025/26 fixture list, including confirmation of the first stages of the Carabao Cup and the Vertu Trophy.

Secondly , because the Annual General Meeting of our Trust will be held. There are six Trust Board Members to elect, accounts and reports for last year to be reviewed, minutes of the previous meeting to be approved and three other resolutions to be considered. Please click here for full details, including confirmation of the action that you should take if you (i) would like to attend online or (ii) can’t attend, but would like to be represented by a proxy.
