The board of the Red Imps Community Trust have reluctantly accepted the resignation of Peter Doyle who steps down from the Chair’s role for personal reasons. We would like to thank Peter for his hard work on the Trust Board and of course for his previous commitment as elected Trust representative on the board of directors of Lincoln City Football Club.

The Trust board, recognising the huge increase in members of the organisation over the last few months and the ambitious strategies it is undertaking and has set out for the future, will now seek a high-calibre individual as Chair who is appropriate to the size and ambition of the Red Imps Community Trust in 2021.

The Trust board already has candidates who are more than qualified and capable to take up the role as Chair but collectively feels that a new person with recognised leadership credentials at a high level may be attracted to the position. This will be explored over the next few weeks.

In the meantime Trevor Swinburne has been appointed as Interim Chair of the Trust with Mandi Slater taking up the Interim Vice Chair role.
